We support companies across Europe in meeting the stringent requirements of the REACH Regulation (EC 1907/2006) concerning the registration and characterisation of chemical substances. The process is based on the principle of “No Data, No Market”, which means that every manufacturer, importer or downstream user must ensure proper registration of a substance before placing it on the market.
We carry out comprehensive physicochemical analyses and composition testing, which form the essential basis for registration documentation and chemical safety assessment.
Thanks to our advanced analytical infrastructure, we perform testing using all key techniques required in REACH assessments. These methods allow for precise determination of composition, purity and physicochemical properties of substances, regardless of their type or complexity.
We use, among others, the following analytical techniques:
GC-MS (Gas Chromatography – Mass Spectrometry)
LC-MS/MS (Liquid Chromatography – Tandem Mass Spectrometry)
ICP-OES (Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry)
FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy)
NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy)
XRF (X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometry)
TGA (Thermogravimetric Analysis)
GPC (Gel Permeation Chromatography / Size Exclusion Chromatography)
We offer the full range of testing required for the registration of chemical substances, including:
Substance identity and sameness (SIP) testing – unambiguous characterisation of a substance using appropriate spectroscopic and analytical methods.
Sameness testing is essential for co-registrants to confirm that their substance is equivalent to the substance registered by the lead registrant.
We are not limited by sample type – we analyse liquid, solid, powder and gas materials.
As part of REACH projects, we test a wide range of materials, including:
Polymers (and their monomers, in line with the upcoming changes to the REACH regulation)
Metal salts
Reaction masses and organic intermediates
Technical gases
UVCB substances (Unknown or Variable composition, Complex reaction products or Biological materials), including petroleum-derived UVCBs
Nanomaterials (subject to specific registration requirements, including nano-scale characterisation, morphology and composition analysis)
Each project is finalised with a laboratory report prepared in accordance with the requirements of the REACH Regulation.
We support our clients in preparing documentation, and our reports are issued in English in line with the current REACH guidelines.
We cooperate with numerous consulting firms in Poland and across Europe and also provide assistance in communication with REACH partners and consultants.
By partnering with us, you benefit from:
Extensive experience in industrial and regulatory analyses
Flexible approach to sample type and testing scope
Comprehensive analytical infrastructure in one location
Expert data interpretation – our specialists can provide justification for the choice of analytical methods and reported results
If you require reliable analytical data for substance registration or support in the REACH process, feel free to contact us.
We will help you select the appropriate testing scope and prepare a report fully compliant with European regulatory requirements.
